聚四氟乙烯纤维的凝胶纺丝
摘 要:以PVA为载体,引入硼酸与PVA形成凝胶,将聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)乳液通过乳液凝胶纺丝,成纤后经烧结去除PVA,使PTFE分子发生黏连形成PTFE纤维。研究硼酸与PVA的络合机制以及烧结温度和时间对PVA去除的影响。采用傅里叶红外光谱法对PVA的烧蚀残余量进行定量分析,在谱图中用1152 cm-1处C—O吸收峰面积与639 cm^-1处C—F(内标)吸收峰面积之比表示;通过电子强力仪测量单根纤维的力学性能。结果表明:随烧结温度的升高和时间的延长,PVA残余量明显降低;当烧结温度高于327℃时,PTFE分子链能够发生移动使得纤维连续,PTFE纤维强度提高显著,利于后续的牵伸。关键词:聚四氟乙烯纤维 烧结 PVA 凝胶纺丝
Research on gel-spinning of polytetrafluoroethylene fibersMA Xunming, GUO Yuhai, CHEN Jianyong, SUN Fang Key Laboratory for Advanced Textile Materials and Manufacturing Technology ( Zhejiang Sci- Tech University), Ministry of Education, Hangzhou, Zhejiang 310018, ChinaAbstract: Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) solution was prepared with PVA and boric acid and then gel-spun into PTFE fibers, and removed the PVA from the resulting fibers by sintering. The complexing mechanism of PVA and boric acid, and the effect of sintering temperature and time on PVA residual were analyzed. The PVA residual was analyzed quantitatively by FTIR using the ratio of characteristic peak area of C--O in PVA at 1 152 cm^-1 and C--F at 639 cm^-1 as internal standard, the mechanical properties of single fiber was tested by electronic tensile strength tester. The results indicate that the PVA residual is decreased with an increase of sintering temperature and time. When sintering temperature is increased to 327℃, the PTFE molecular chain tends to move, as a result, the mechanical properties of PTFE fibers are improved obviously, which is beneficial for drafting in next step.
